• Speak honestly
• Mind what you speak, on the inside or outside, it is a suitable time to calmly ask for what you want.
• One asks for their mouth to be full, a good time for nourishment.
• The image of thunder is that of sound echoing in the valley below the still mountain. Words have the power to amplify and multiply.
• Spoken from inner clarity and truth, a sound echoes for a thousand mountains.
• Your freedom is to choose the words carefully and freely. You don’t have to take on the thoughts and attitudes of those around you.

• Cow and bull are slow animals that plod resolutely where they need to go, they are not rushed and so are clear. They don’t waver left and right from the wind of the day.
• It’s about stubborn courage, clarity, optimism and carrying out a mission. Even if other people seem not to believe in you, this hexagram refers to a situation in which by believing in what you do without letting go, you will make it happen.
• You harness forces that are bigger than you, powerful forces move slow but have the greatest strength.
• It augurs a period of slow and persevering work of going forward and treading one’s desire with unrelenting clarity and vision.

• Set your sights on the most inspired desire you can find, don’t settle for less.
• the word 顛 diān which we translate as ‘high’ more literally means top of head, summit, apex. It also carries the meaning of falling, toppling over — which almost gives a feeling of vertigo.
• It’s not an easy thing that you are desiring, and yet, because you can see it, you can do it.
• It’s time to tune out all distractions and move forward in full focus and immersion.

Conclusion

It’s an important time not to ignore your desires. Though sometimes it might seem impossible, the lines suggest you are able to achieve them. Take some time choose your desires wisely — take the most elevated thing you can think of and devote fully to it in every waking minute.

The key to this is slow patient and dedicated work ethic. In this period don’t be afraid to almost fixate on the thing that you desire, tuning out all distractions. You don’t even have to make space to worry about the reactions of others because you are so immersed in what you love doing.
